Oooo let the ghosts drive my knees tonight
Into the garden of stones side by side
Where inside out ringlets
Of tormented souls
Walk side by side
The young and the old
But if I must go
And I dream of where I'll be
Why not dream of pretty women
And of mermaids by the sea
Where I'm robed with woven roses
Soft as baby's skin
Bathed in cupid's oils
And all condone my sins
Let me change my plea
Might I deserve to change my plea
Oooo let me fly where the trumpets do cry
Into the palette of dust on the sky
Open the door let me crawl through to your home
"The vault is open, release your soul"
Well it’s just a dream
Might I deserve to have a dream

This is undoubtedly my single favorite album of all time. It feels like such a perfect culmination of all the themes and ideas Fleet Foxes has been working with since 2008. It answers many of the questions found on both Helplessness Blues and Crack-Up, and represents an incredible maturation and growth in Robin Pecknold's perspective. Their other albums are certainly masterpieces, but this, in my opinion, is their magnum opus. I doubt it will be recognized as such in its time. isaiah_stuart
Terry Venemous is releasing new music every 3 weeks this year. His latest EP is sumptuous art pop with a wry sense of detachment.
